National Anthem at MSU

Once again, I had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the MSU basketball games this weekend. It is such a complete honor to get to share my passion for singing during my year! We video taped my performance this time so look for a video coming soon!! However, if you would like to hear it live, I will performing at the Hockey game at the Verizon Wireless Center on March 13th!!

Dancing with the Mankato Stars

 What an amazing event!! This past weekend I volunteered at Dancing with the Mankato Stars to help raise money for the local American Red Cross! I directed people to the People's Choice Award buckets so they could vote for their favorite dancer! This event was spectacular and was filled with so much entertainment! The Mankato Stars may not have had any dance experience besides this show but they rocked the stage like true performers!! Congratulations to Troy Volk for taking home the Mirror Ball Trophy and congratulations to the rest of the Dancing with the Mankato Stars committee for raising over $150,000 for the American Red Cross!! You should be so proud of your efforts and I can't wait to come to Dancing with the Mankato Stars next year!!

Waseca Pageant

February 7th was the Waseca Pageant and I had the honor of helping them crown the new Miss South Central! Being the 2nd to last pageant, it was great to see our Miss Minnesota Class of 2015 become almost complete. I can tell Miss Minnesota week will be a blast with all of the incredible contestants this year and I can't wait for June to be here!

Anthony Ford Pond Hockey Classic

 I had the most incredible time at the Anthony Ford Pond Hockey Classic! I had the opportunity to help with team registration and had time to cheer on the teams! One of the youth teams came all the way from Florida just so they could play on real ice! They were so extremely excited that they didn't even realize how cold it was here! I spent some time with their parents getting to know the story of why they came here and all the fundraising they had to do to make it happen! I also got to meet Anthony Ford's mother and spent some time with Stunt from Radio Mankato!! It was so great to get to know more people from Mankato and get to help out with such an amazing event!
